What is Jivika?
Jivika is a career workspace for job seekers. It searches live job listings, matches your resume against job descriptions, reviews your CV and LinkedIn profile, maps a career path with estimated salaries, helps you prepare for interviews, writes cover letters and tracks your applications.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up on the Free plan. Open the app and upload your resume. You can try the tools on the free demo model straight away, then add your own model key in Settings.
Which model providers are supported?
Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Groq, Mistral AI, DeepSeek, xAI Grok and OpenRouter. You choose the provider and model in Settings, and can verify your key with one click before you start.
What file format should my resume be in?
Upload your resume as a PDF with selectable text. Scanned images without a text layer cannot be read reliably.
Privacy and keys
Where is my API key stored?
In your browser only. By default it is kept in session storage and cleared when you close the tab. If you choose to remember it on this device, it is kept in local storage. The key is sent with each request and is never stored or logged on our servers.
Where are my resume and results stored?
Your resume, analyses, scores and applications are stored in your browser's local storage. You can remove everything with Clear all local data in Settings.
Who sees the content I send for analysis?
Our server passes your request to the model provider you selected and returns the result without saving it. That provider processes the content under its own terms and privacy policy, so review them before you choose one.
Features
Where do job listings come from?
From third-party job boards and public company career pages, fetched when you search. Listings are shown as-is with a link to the original posting, and Jivika does not verify them, so check each role on the original site before you apply. Some optional research sources fetch publicly available listings on demand; they may be switched off or unavailable at times.
How is the job match score calculated?
The score blends the model's assessment of your fit with a deterministic check of how many of the job's keywords appear in your resume. Treat it as a guide to where you stand, not a prediction of a hiring decision.
Are the salary figures accurate?
They are estimates generated by the model for your current, next and long-term roles, in the currency you choose (INR, USD, GBP or EUR) and for the location you enter. Use them as a starting point and check them against current job postings and salary surveys.
Can Jivika apply to jobs for me?
No. Jivika helps you prepare stronger applications and keep track of them, but you stay in control of where and when you apply.
Plans
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. Jivika charges nothing on the Free plan. Your model provider may charge for usage at its own rates, and several providers offer free tiers.
What will Pro include, and when?
Pro will provide hosted AI so you do not need your own key, with higher-quality models selected for you, sync across devices (planned) and priority support. There is no launch date or price yet. Join the waitlist to hear first.
