Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of the Jivika website and app (the “service”), provided by Abhimanyu Singh, India, under the name Jivika (“Jivika”, “we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Jivika provides tools that use large language models to analyse your resume against job descriptions, review your CV and LinkedIn profile, suggest career paths, help you prepare for interviews, draft cover letters and track applications. On the Free plan you connect your own model provider key. The service is provided free of charge and on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, you should use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

AI output

• Results are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Review them carefully before relying on them.
• Jivika does not provide professional career, legal, financial or immigration advice. Consider speaking to a qualified professional for decisions that matter.
• We do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any other outcome from using the service.
• Salary figures are estimates generated by a model and may not reflect actual pay for a role, employer or location.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you send to employers, including resumes and cover letters drafted with Jivika.

Your model key and costs

You are responsible for obtaining and protecting your model provider key, for complying with that provider’s terms, and for any charges your provider makes for requests sent with your key. We are not responsible for provider charges, limits, outages or changes to their services.

Job listings

Job search shows listings that come from third-party job boards and company career pages. They are shown as-is, with a link to the original posting. Jivika does not verify listings, employers, salaries or availability, and is not a party to any application you make; check each role on the original site before you apply. Optional research sources fetch publicly available listings on demand and may be disabled or unavailable at any time.

Your content

You keep all rights to the content you upload or enter, such as your resume and job descriptions. You are responsible for that content and confirm that you have the right to use it and to send it to the model provider you choose. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process it to provide the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, or to create false or misleading credentials;
• upload content that you do not have the right to share, or other people’s personal information without their permission;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
• use automated means to access the service in a way that places an unreasonable load on it.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and we do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption. Because your data is stored in your browser, keep your own copies of anything important. Plans described as coming soon or planned may change before launch. Joining the Pro waitlist does not create an obligation for either of us; Pro features, pricing and launch timing may change. We may restrict access for anyone who breaches these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jivika will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, opportunity, income or profit, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page, and continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from the service.
